One hell of a Productive Day and Possibly a New Diet!!!
The Living Room Area
Before.
I have also;
- Cleaned the guest bathroom - it now sparkles!
- had a good sort out of towels and bed linen (have thrown away lots)
- had a sort out of my lingerie! I had far too much so have reduced it by half
- done 3 loads of washing and is currently all drying on the line as i type
- been food shopping and bought all the below goodies
I purchased, red onions, bananas, apples, tomatoes, courgette, little gem lettuce, radish, celery, spring onions and finally Clive's Pies in Aloo Matar (curry) and Arabian Chickpea, they are amazing organic vegetarian and vegan pies - they are out of this world!
Ok that's enough of my busy day....now onto a new diet I'm thinking of trying, it's called the 14 day Summer Detox.

I am fully aware it is not summer anymore (didn't really have a summer in the UK this year :( ) but i am getting married 5 weeks today - ARRRGGHH! and i think a small detox will do me good. I love reading other bloggers blogs on what they have eaten and think that i may be able to incorporate what i am eating into my blog (if i have the time).
A description of the book is below;
Carol Vorderman's Summer Detox is the summer companion to the huge number 1 book Detox for Life, which took the bestseller lists by storm in the first half of 2002 and 2003 selling a staggering 600,000 copies. At 14 days, the diet is half the length of the original plan and so offers a specially designed, more accessible option for readers wanting to ready themselves for poolside and beach. Fully revised and updated, it includes even more delicious, fresh summer recipes, with fabulous ideas for breakfasts, supersalads, summer soups, super smoothies, desserts and snacks, plus more testimonies from women who have made a real difference to the way they live by successfully following the programme.
The reviews for this diet on amazon all seem positive - i notice a lot of people who have tried this detox have seen an improvement in their skin, which is a bonus as i am dreading having a skin breakout on my wedding day!!
Has anyone followed a detox diet before? How did you feel?

Day 3 of The Last Chance Plan
I spoke to a doctor today about my symptoms as already people are texting me from work asking if i had Swine Flu, so to put their minds at rest when i return to work tomorrow i wanted to get the all clear off the doc. He was really great (i was not allowed to visit the surgery due to my symptoms) he went through my symptoms and thinks i have had Gastroenteritis, which is common amongst Cabin Crew, he was actually really grateful that i checked whether i was safe to return to work and said how considerate i was to think of my work colleagues.
So this means i have had another day of no exercise :o( but i am cool with that as i have hardly ate anything, i have also not followed my food plan as i am just not that hungry, think my stomach has shrunk a little so will have a small portion pasta meal tonight.
Even though i have been ill, i am feeling really positive about my plan, i am can't wait to get back onto the healthy eating tomorrow when i return to work and will exercise at the weekend when i know that the bug has fully gone. I have been reading some great blogs on SP and blogger and feel sooo motivated to succeed this time.
We are going to H2B's cousins wedding at the weekend and i am really looking forward to it, think i may need to wack on the fake tan as i am a little pale at the moment.
My favourite is the Dove moisturiser in medium/dark
This is my dress that i am wearing with deep purple bag and shoes.
The hotel we are staying in has a gym and a swimming pool, so i will be taking my gear and making use of the facilities - go me!!! I will also pack myself healthy snacks for the 3 hour journey whilst all the family get their meal from McDonalds or KFC. My body feels so empty of food at the moment that all i want to do is fill it with healthy, nutritional food. I hope the food isn't too rich at the wedding but i will relax and enjoy myself for 1 day only, may even allow myself a couple of glasses of wine!!
Day 2 of The Last Chance Plan
Well day 2 is not going the way i would like it - i am sick!! And i mean really sick, i can not even keep water down at the moment. I didn't feel quite right during Aerobics and Body Pump last night, i was seriously lacking in energy and on my short walk home after i really felt strange. When i got in i had a bite to eat as i thought that might make me feel better. I opted for 3 chipolata pork sausage and a spoon ful of chickpea daal (my H2B had just made it up, i was supposed to have chicken salad but i just wanted some food). I then went up for my shower and when i came back downstairs H2B handed me a glass of juice as he was worried that i was dehydrated. After a few sips i had to run to the bathroom to be sick - my head was pounding. I had a really rough night and found it difficult to sleep so decided to call work and tell them that i won't be coming in today - so glad i did as everything that i have tried to drink this morning has come back up, i haven't even attempted food. So my meal plan has not been followed today - at least i won't be putting weight on!!! I am sat on the sofa feeling sorry for myself, praying that this headache goes soon. I think it must be a tummy bug so hopefully will feel better soon. Hope my lovely Spark Buddies are having a great day x

Day 1 of The Last Chance Plan
I knew that if he knew my weight (that's right i have never told him my weight), i will really want to try and get the scale down each week. So i jumped on the scales and it wasn't too bad 157.5lb, so that is .5 under what i should be YAY!!! 1st weeks goal met. My H2B was so supportive this morning - he is great x
I have also planned my meals for the week and will not deviate from this. I'm off to Aerobics & Body Pump this evening also. Got to reach my 155.5lb target next week - that's 2lb to lose this week - I CAN DO IT x
